Ian’s dynamic and driven energy is at the forefront of what we do at Excell Battery. An experienced engineer in his own right, Ian earned his Master of Engineering degree from the University of Johannesburg in 1995. Over his decades-long career, he has worked in various industries across the globe in both engineering and operational roles. Ian expanded his professional scope by moving into an executive business capacity, leading multiple companies to achieve exponential growth in the technology environment.

He believes in cultivating value and growth, both for his colleagues and his customers. Ian strives to make Excell “the best place to work,” where innovation and technical excellence are sought daily and employees feel fulfilled.

Originally hailing from South Africa, Ian is an adventurous polyglot who enjoys exploring the outdoors unique to each pocket of the world. He is an avid skiier, kayaker, and mountain biker. Ian draws inspiration from his colleagues, friends, and family. He sees every challenge as an opportunity to improve and looks forward to leading Excell Battery and its customers through new ventures.
