SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
The USA Sales Manager will focus on further building Excell Battery USA’s Non-Oil & Gas solutions business. Reporting to the CEO, the sales manager will have full responsibility for expanding the sales operation in USA, including the development and execution of key sales strategies to increase revenues and diversify and expand Excell’s client base, market and promote company products and services, and build strong relationships with clients at all levels.
The ideal candidate is an inspiring, strategic sales leader with ‘presence’ who brings a knowledge of the battery solutions landscape in the USA and existing client relationships within various industries.
Experience: The ideal candidate will bring a track record of success in a sales capacity from a related battery solutions company, original equipment manufacturer or similar organization that sells to the technology industry. Has a technical knowledge of battery products would be an asset and has experience in facilitating customers through long sales cycles. She/He has demonstrated an ability to develop a sophisticated sales strategy and drive significant sales volume.
Education: Ideally a university degree or diploma in Engineering, marketing, business, or a related discipline. Is inquisitive, prepared to roll up their sleeves, with a drive to continually learn and understand the customers business and trends in the market.
Sales Experience: Is an exceptional sales professional who has passion, tenacity for sales and is driven by the hunt for new business. Possesses the presence, stature, confidence, and ability to develop, maintain, and build positive and lasting relationships in the technology environment, with new and existing client organizations. Effective at searching for new customer, engaging them and closing a deal.
Technological Proficiency: Has demonstrated an ability to leverage technology in the development of more effective sales tools.
Communication Skills: Articulate, with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of people. Comfortable making presentations to major purchasers and technical teams.
Business Management: Strong business acumen; good analytical and decision-making skills. A demonstrated ability to solve diverse problems. A high degree of self-discipline with good time management and organizational abilities.
Teamwork: Collaborates effectively with all Excell departments to progress an opportunity, sharing knowledge and taking accountability for actions in the full sales cycle.
Results Driven: Is willing to do what it takes drive sales results and open new markets. Continually looks for opportunities to improve processes that support the achievement of sales objectives. Has a strong sense of urgency and prioritizes appropriately.
Career Driven: Has enhanced sales results and is ready for the next step in her/his career.
Travel: Is willing to do the travel required to strengthen relationships and open new markets.
