Excell Battery was formed in 1985, and until late 2021, was owned and managed by the original group of private founding partners.

In December of 2021, Excell Battery was acquired by Ultralife Corporation. Headquartered in New York and serving multiple global centers, Ultralife is a leading provider of critical power solutions and communication systems.

Through organic growth, Excell Battery continues to expand its market presence and capabilities as represented in its four locations across North America.

At Excell Battery, we offer a broad range of battery technology, which is supported by the most advanced battery manufacturers in the world.

We offer technical support services to our customers that involve engineering and design support for new and existing projects, UN Testing services, comprehensive battery pack testing services in support of client-driven applied research and development projects.

The guide to Excell Battery’s global conduct policy (“Code of Conduct”) is based on our DNA and contains the fundamental principles of how Excell conducts business. This DNA impacts all of our relationships with Customers, Suppliers, Employees, Community and Shareholders.
